Running Time: 5:38 Date: 01/01/2015 Learning to spread the load is good for business - try it! You can't do everything if you want your business to grow. That's the message this month from Alan Hargreaves, who years ago assessed the limitations of his own skill set. It applies to us all, he says. We're all great at some things but not-so-good at others. Be aware, he advises, and don't let your ego get in the way of good business management. Instead, learn to delegate more, to allow others to try things their own way. But Alan has a further warning: if you delegate a task, don't then try to micromanage it. That's defeating the purpose.
