Running Time: 9:01 Date: 01/01/2013 In life, as well as in business, our character - or lack of it - may determine whether we succeed or fail. Neil Jenman, who made his name in real estate - often amid controversy as he introduced new systems based on ethical business practices and the rights of consumers - has turned his hand to writing. In his latest book, "Success Takes Character - Winning and Losing in the Game of Life", he argues that financial success without an underpinning of good character is worth little. We compile lists of the rich and famous, but not of those who make the greatest contribution to society. Often, he says, we're admiring the wrong heroes. Success in business will come if we follow two simple principles: work hard and put your customers first. Topics: Leadership, Personal Development, Success Stories |
