Running Time: 6:21 Date: 01/06/2012 'Very positive!' That's the outlook for employment prospects for finance and accounting professionals in Australia. Robert Half Asia Pacific commissioned a survey of 300 of Australia's top finance directors and CFOs to see what their hiring intentions were for 2012. According to David Jones, Managing Director of Robert Half Asia Pacific, 44 per cent of those surveyed said they planned to add to their head count in 2012. A further 40 per cent said they were looking at keeping their staff numbers static, and only 12 per cent were looking to decrease. Overall, about 80 percent of CFOs and finance directors feel optimistic about the Australian economy. David says with such optimism in the market place, managers need to focus on retaining their best talent. David Jones, Robert Half Asia PacificTopics: Accounting & Tax, Human Resources |
