The company reporting season's over, with generally good results. Now's the time for canny investors to do their homework. The half-year reporting season for listed companies is over, and Tim Lincoln of Lincoln Stock Doctor says it been mostly positive, with many companies continuing to grow in challenging times. Now, he says, it's time for investors to do their homework on the results and underlying fundamentals that the reporting season has thrown up. Don't rely wholly on third party advice. The reporting season also produced evidence of a number of companies which were able to withstand headwinds like the $AU exchange rate while, on the downside, some companies with poor results were nevertheless rewarded because they had exceeded expectations.Topics: Economy, Investment, Management |
