  Despite the doomsayers, the sharemarket is consolidating its gains, but the old rules still apply: do your homework, look for quality and play a long game. While some investors and commentators are still eyeing the sharemarket nervously, Tim Lincoln of Lincoln Stock Doctor says it's pointless to worry about whether there'll be another correction. There certainly will be, but savvy investors know that a disciplined approach to investing, with the long-term in mind, will guide them through the inevitable ups and downs.
