Cashflow may be king, but what do you do if it's in short supply? Answer: don't freeze, think outside the square. If your business is struggling for cash, you're probably not alone. Reducing fixed and variable costs can help, but don't be afraid to think outside the square. Look for discounted deals and extended terms, on advertising for instance, or seek out other complementary businesses with which you might be able to share sales teams or logistics costs. Deals can be done on stock purchases if suppliers are carrying too much. Try to exploit the internet more - it can often be done at little cost. And check out investors who may be looking for good small business investment opportunities.Topics: Business Processes, Business Growth, Management |
