Running Time: 8:14 Date: 01/06/2013 On the stock markets, good news abounds - for most sectors of Australian business and even in those troubled overseas economies. Low interest rates and leaner, more profitable businesses post-GFC are creating excellent investment opportunities at present, according to Elio D'Amato, CEO of Lincoln Stock Doctor. Mining and the small company sector may still be lagging, but generally the mood is buoyant, and the same story's being told overseas, with Europe, the US, the Middle East and Japan all reporting stock market gains. The recent drop in the value of the Australian dollar is also providing a welcome boost for exporters and those companies who earn most of their revenue abroad.
