Date: 01/04/2012 Many business owners feel they're not getting value for their marketing dollar - a strategic approach can turn that around. A recent survey showed that 82 percent of business owners were disappointed by the results they got for the money they spent on marketing. Debbie Richardson, of 9 Strategic who sponsored the survey, wasn't surprised. She says the lack of a strategic approach, starting with the business's aims and objectives, can lead toad hoc marketing, lack of accountability and out-of-control costs.
