Don't confuse your peacocks with your owls - understanding the main personality types can be a key to successful marketing If you want to be sure your marketing is effective, make sure you're targetting the four main peronality types. Marketing and sales guru Tony Gattari of Achievers Group identifies them as eagles, peacocks, doves and owls. Easily recognisable, but they all need to be considered and provided for. Eagles are independent and strong-willed. They want to see achievements and results. Peacocks are driven by image - they're impressed by awards and endorsements, and the look of your marketing material. Doves are cautious and conservative - offer them guarantees, reassure them that they can't lose. And owls are analytical. They love facts and case studies. Cater for all of them in your marketing, and don't fall into the trap of letting your own personality type dominate.Topics: Business Growth, Customer Service, Marketing & Sales |
