Elio D'Amato, of Lincoln Stock Doctor, says investors are showing cautious optimism about the beginnings of a market recovery, though volatility will continue and the year will start flat. There are fears of more bad economic news and people are wary about over-committing. Banks need to free up their credit policies still further, but he expects stocks to start their recovery before the general economy, possibly as early as April.
