Nicholas Don, of property investment advisers Odyssey Financial, says he's never been busier. He predicts a solid upturn in residential investment property activity following the pullback in the second half of 2008. He attributes that to the effect of lower interest rates and the increase in the First Home-buyer Grant, together with continuing investor wariness about the stockmarket. 2007 legislation allowing Self Manage Super Funds to borrow to invest in property is also significant.
