  Four Olympic gold medals at the Beijing Games is an outstanding performance, but got little attention at the time. The winner: Croker Oars, based at Taree in New South Wales, whose product actually picked up 29 percent of all the rowing medals. But, as founder Howard Croker explains, it was no fluke, owing more to decades of determination and sheer hard work than anything else.
